About Thomas M. Murphy
Not all areas of law are created equal. It’s important for individuals to find a law firm that specializes in the area of law where they need help. A real estate attorney, for example, won’t understand and adequately address the unique issues that crop up in a personal injury or workers’ compensation case.
Thomas (“Tommy”) Murphy represents clients in the areas of workers’ compensation, unsafe workplace, personal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security disability law.
Tommy’s goal is to help accident victims get their lives back on track. He offers free consultations and if he’s not the right lawyer for you, he’ll help you find the lawyer that is right for you.

Biography
Thomas (Tommy) Murphy grew up in Great Falls, Montana and graduated from CM Russell High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Montana in 2010, and his law degree from the University of Montana School of Law in May of 2014.
During his time at the University of Montana School of Law, Tommy interned at a well-respected workers’ compensation law firm. He also took part in a clinical program where he provided a range of legal services to low-income individuals. Tommy credits both experiences with cementing his desire to use the law to help others.
Tommy joined Murphy Law Firm in 2014 as an Associate Attorney. During his time at the Murphy Law Firm, he has won several big cases against insurance companies, including a noteworthy case that helped limit the ability of insurance companies to force injured plaintiffs to undergo invasive independent medical examinations (IMEs). Recently, Tommy was honored with an appointment to the Rules Committee of the Montana Workers' Compensation Court.
Tommy represents clients in the areas of workers’ compensation, unsafe workplace, personal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security disability law.
